Activity of honorary consulate of Mongolia in Serbia for 2021 and 2022

The main activities of the Consulate of Mongolia and of Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević, as the Honorary Consul of Mongolia to the Republic of Serbia, were focused obtaining better relations between Mongolia and Serbia, especially in this post pandemic period were many citizens from Mongolia were coming to Serbia.

The Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia is working as an office and upon that we had a successful year in the consulate which was opened every day from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m for all Mongolian citizens in Serbia, from this year and after the pandemic we are also available via our emails and trough online tools and audio video conferencing platforms. Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia worked in strict conformity with the Regulation for Honorary Consuls of Mongolia and implemented functions, stipulated in Article 7 of the above said regulation.

Other main activities of the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia were consisting of following:

  • September 2022, Prof. Bumbasirevic professor Bumbasirevic hosted a high level delegation of Mongolian high officials and had very nice and fruitful meetings in Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia..
  • Upon request of Mongolian Embassy in Budapest, Prof Bumbasirevic made research of possible collaborations between Serbian and Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and reported a full list of fairs in Serbia interesting for the Mongolian Companies.
  • Our new office of the consulate of Mongolia has been officially recognized and we put official flags on the building and created a special office space for meetings and now also available special virtual rooms in which we can receive requests from Mongolian citizens.
  • Prof. Bumbasirevic has been actively involved in helping Mongolian citizens having problems on the borders and we had few cases where Mongolian citizens were complaining that their passport was stolen and therefore, we provided a car, driver and safe place for Mongolian citizens each time. We also communicated with Mongolian and Serbian officials in locating Mongolian citizens who were coming to Serbia a lot in last year.
  • On 15th of January 2022 , The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, H.E. Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević attended the ceremony organized by Serbian Army on new year holidays and used this oportunity to speak with Minister Selakovic about improvent in relationship and colaboration of Mongolia and Serbia in this field.
  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, H.E. Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević attended the ceremony organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, H.E. Minister Selakovic on the ocasion of a traditional reception for all honorary consuls in Serbia together with the heads of all diplomatic missions present in Serbia. Prof. Bumbasirevic used this oportunity to have a conversation with H.E. Minister Selakovic in terms of expanding relation of Serbia with Mongolia and he had a very positive feedback from H.E. Minister Selakovic who promised that the relation beetween our countries is going to strenghten in the following years. H.E. Minister Selakovic gave a brief report about the diplomatic activities in the previous year.
  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević, attended virtual celebrations and receptions of Japanese Embassy, American Embassy, British Embassy, Iran Embassy, Embassy of Pakistan.
  • On 20th of April, Iran Embassy organized a cocktail for high level officials in hotel Hyatt Regency which was attended by Prof. Dr Marko Bumbasirevic in order to strengthen the relations with Iran side as they are very powerful in Serbian society.
  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević, traditionally attended the celebration hosted by Kuwait Embassy in Serbia in order to strengthen the relations with Kuwait Ambassador who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Metropol Palace.
  • On the day of Serbian Army, Prof. Bumbaširević attended a reception held in Topcider, Belgrade in purpose of obtaining and securing better relations between Serbian and Mongolian Army.
  • Welcome reception of Embassy of Pakistan in hotel Hyatt Regency was attended by prof. Bumbasirevic traditionally. Honorary Consul of Mongolia, Prof. Marko Bumbasirevic used this occasion to obtain better relations with relevant Serbian diplomatic and political factors in purpose of achieving goals as instructed by Mongolian Embassy in Budapest.
  • Welcome reception and celebration of 4th July in the building of American Embassy in Serbia, held by American Ambassador. Honorary Consul used this opportunity for obtaining better relations with American Ambassador as he has a very important role in the Serbian society.
  • On 05th of August, Prof, Marko Bumbasirevic accompanied with his wife attended the memorial ceremony of “Oluja” in Veternik, Novi Sad. One of the most important memorial ceremonies held by our president H.E. Mr. Aleksandar Vučić. Ceremony is devoted to Serbian people who were forced to move to Serbia during 1995.
  • Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof.Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Montenegrin Embassy in Serbia to strengthen the relations with Montenegrin Ambassador, who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Hyatt Regency, Belgrade.
  • Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević attended the reception which was organized by Serbian Army and hosted by Serbian President, H.E. Aleksandar Vučić on promoting new officers. This event was held in the National Assembly of Serbia.
  • In October 2022, on 20st and 22nd of October, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Serbia, Prof. Marko Bumbasirevic attended the celebrations on the occasions of liberation of Belgrade (20th October) and liberation of Novi Sad (22nd October). Prof. Bumbasirevic used both occasions to have an informal meeting with official of Serbian Government.
  • In December, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Bumbaširević, traditionally attended the celebration hosted by Japan Embassy in Serbia to strengthen the relations with Japanese Ambassador who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Metropol Palace, Belgrade.

All regular activities of consulate were done on daily basis (helping Mongolian citizens in Serbia with their education, health and all other needs they have in Serbia in relation and under jurisdiction of Consulate of Mongolia and therefore they are not mentioned in the report as separate activities.

Other main activities of the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia were consisting of following:

  • In November 2019, Prof. Bumbasirevic professor Bumbasirevic hosted a high level delegation of Mongolian parliament including president of the parliament Mr. Bold during the International Conference in Belgrade gathering all presidents of the parliaments from the world.
  • Upon request of Mongolian Embassy in Budapest, Prof Bumbasirevic made a research of possible collaborations between Serbian and Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and reported a full list of fairs in Serbia interesting for the Mongolian Companies.

  • Unfortunately, from 13th of March, Prof. Bumbasirevic is deeply involved in our expert teams helping in prevention of spreading COVID 19 and our country is hardly hit so almost all occasions in the year were canceled and transferred into virtual ones.

The main activities of the Consulate of Mongolia and of Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević, as the Honorary Consul of Mongolia to the Republic of Serbia, were focused obtaining better relations between Mongolia and Serbia.

The Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia has been expanded last year in a new office and upon that we had a successful year in the consulate which was opened every day from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m for all Mongolian citizens in Serbia. Ms. Mina Ivanisevic and Mr. Milos Dimitrijevic are appointed as secretaries of the Consulate and they served all Mongolian citizens on daily basis. Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia worked in strict conformity with the Regulation for Honorary Consuls of Mongolia and implemented functions, stipulated in Article 7 of the above said regulation.

Other main activities of the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia were consisting of following:

  • After expansion of the Consulate in 2015 in 2016 we made a new website containing all necessary information for Mongolian citizens in Serbia, we wanted to take care that they can easily reach us and that they can rely on our help in every moment. The website of the consulate from then is updated on a yearly basis, helping Mongolian citizens and sharing Mongolian culture and tradition within this region.
  • In January, Prof. Bumbasirevic received a request from Mr. Munkbat from Mongolia to help and strengthen the relationship with the company Grundfos Serbia which was successfully solved by the Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia.
  • Upon request of Mongolian Embassy in Budapest, Prof Bumbasirevic made a research of possible collaborations between Serbian and Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and reported a full list of fairs in Serbia interesting for the Mongolian Companies.
  • Our new office of the consulate of Mongolia has been officially recognized and we put official flags on the building and created a special office space for meetings.
  • Serbian Company Best from Kragujevac made a huge cooperation with a company from Mongolia recommended by the Mongolian Embassy and now Mongolian meat is imported and sold in Serbia. Professor Bumbasirevic made huge efforts in order to make this connection successful.
  • During the Visit of the delegation of the Mongolian Embassy in Budapest, headed with H.E. Mr. Batbayor, many successful meetings were held in Serbia and plans for future cooperation were established. The idea was to gather some of the best surgeons in the world and make a poll which will travel to Mongolia to help and operate children which desperately needs such interventions.
  • On 11th of January, The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, H.E. Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević attended the ceremony organized by Serbian Army on the occasion of new year holidays and used this oportunity to speak with Minister A.Vulin and General Dikovic about the future colaboration of Mongolia and Serbia in this field.
  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, H.E. Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević attended the ceremony organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, H.E.   • Prof. Marko Bumbaširević met with the chief of Consular Department in the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr. Aca Jovanovic, on 05th May 2018, on this occasion they considered again possibilities for future better cooperation between Mongolia and Serbia and better communication with Mongolian citizens in Serbia regarding the visa regulations between two countries. Honorary Consul and H.E. Mr. Aca Jovanovic exchanged their views on finishing the internal procedure of the Agreement between the Government of Republic of Serbia and Government of Mongolia on Exemption of Visa Requirements for their Respective Nationals. Also they discussed about the support and establishment of friendly cooperation between the Serbian Diplomatic Academy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
  • On 05th of August, Prof, Marko Bumbasirevic accompanied with his wife attended the memorial ceremony of “Oluja” in Veternik, Novi Sad.   • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, H.E. Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević attended the ceremony organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, H.E. Ivica Dacic on the ocasion of a traditional reception for all honorary consuls in Serbia together with the heads of all diplomatic missions present in Serbia. Prof. Bumbasirevic used this oportunity to have a conversation with H.E. Ivica Dacic in terms of expanding relation of Serbia with Mongolia and he had a very positive feedback from H.E. Ivica Dacic who promised that the relation beetween our countries is going to strenghten in the following years.
  • On 12th February 2017, Iran Embassy organized a cocktail for high level officials in hotel Hyatt Regency which was attended by Prof. Dr Marko Bumbasirevic in order to strengthen the relations with Iran side as they are very powerful in Serbian society.
  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, H.E. Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević attended the concert of our famous artist Ms. Ana Sinicki. This reception was organized for high level officials together with all diplomatic missions in Serbia. Prof. Bumbasirevic used this opportunity to speak with Ms. Ana Sinicki about her involvement and help in promoting Mongolian culture and music within Serbian society. Ms. Ana Sinicki agreed that she will help on the first event organized by Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia which is planned for the year 2018 if approved and under auspices of Mongolian Embassy in Budapest.
  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Kuwait Embassy in Serbia in order to strengthen the relations with Kuwait Ambassador who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Metropol Palace, Belgrade on 23rd February 2017.
  • H.E. Dr. Zeneemyadar BATBAYA was appointed as a new ambassador of Mongolia in Hungary and the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia on request of Mongolian Embassy in Budapest helped in organization on presentation of Letter of Credentials of H.E. Dr. Zeneemyadar BATBAYAR to Serbian President H.E. Tomislav Nikolic on 21st of March. On this occasion, Prof. Marko Bumbaširević organized meetings with Director of Asian Department and the Director of Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia on March 20, 2017. Five members of the Mongolian delegation were present in Belgrade during the ceremony: H.E. Dr. Zeneemyadar BATBAYAR, the Ambassador and his wife Mrs. Mijiddorj KHALIUNAA, Mr. Ukhnaa DALAIDORJ, the Third Secretary, Mrs. M.ODONTUYA, the Secretariat and Mr. B. BYAMBATSOLMON, the Driver. Beside the official part of the visit some unofficial meetings were organized by Prof. Bumbasirevic during their visit.
  • On the occasion of the day of Serbian Army, Prof. Bumbaširević attended a reception held in Topcider, Belgrade in purpose of obtaining and securing better relations between Serbian and Mongolian Army.
  • Welcome reception of Embassy of Pakistan on 23rd of April in hotel Hyatt Regency. Honorary Consul of Mongolia, Prof. Marko Bumbasirevic used this occasion to obtain better relations with relevant Serbian diplomatic and political factors in purpose of achieving goals as instructed by Mongolian Embassy in Budapest.
  • Welcome reception and celebration of 4th July in the building of American Embassy in Serbia, held by H.E. Mr. Scot. Honorary Consul used this opportunity for obtaining better relations with American Ambassador as he has a very important role in the Serbian society. The welcome reception was held on 04th of July.
  • Prof. Marko Bumbaširević met with the chief of Consular Department in the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr. Aca Jovanovic, on 05th May 2016, on this occasion they considered possibilities for future better cooperation between Mongolia and Serbia and better communication with Mongolian citizens in Serbia regarding the visa regulations between two countries. Honorary Consul and H.E. Mr. Aca Jovanovic exchanged their views on finishing the internal procedure of the Agreement between the Government of Republic of Serbia and Government of Mongolia on Exemption of Visa Requirements for their Respective Nationals. Also they discussed about the support and establishment of friendly cooperation between the Serbian Diplomatic Academy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
  • On 05th of June, Prof. Marko Bumbaširević welcomed a Mongolian family going through the country because of the migration, maximum efforts were done to help the family, the accommodation was provided by consulate and after three days they were handled by one of our most respected non-government organizations for migrations “Group 484”. Action was initiated and done by Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia and finished successfully because of Prof. Bumbaširević good connections within Serbia.
  • On 05th of August, Prof, Marko Bumbasirevic accompanied with his wife attended the memorial ceremony of “Oluja” in Veternik, Novi Sad. One of the most important memorial ceremonies held by our president H.E. Mr. Aleksandar Vučić. Ceremony is devoted to Serbian people who were forced to move to Serbia during 1995.
  • On 22th of August, several Mongolian citizens came to our Embassy without passports and asking for help, honorary consulate of Mongolia provided all the help needed, gave all of them food and , together with our authorities, took them to the place where they can be secure and have accommodation.
  • Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof.Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Montenegrin Embassy in Serbia in order to strengthen the relations with Montenegrin Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Branimir Micunovic who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Hyatt Regency, Belgrade.
  • Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević attended the reception which was organized by Serbian Army and hosted by Serbian President, H.E. Aleksandar Vučić on the occasion of promoting new officers. This event was held in the National Assembly of Serbia on Serbia on 12th September 2017.
  • In July, August and September, there were several cases of problems to enter the country for Mongolian citizens where we reacted immediately, and Prof. Bumbasirevic went every time in person to make sure that the problem was not in Serbian Police and he confirmed that Mongolian citizens didn’t have all the proper papers for traveling and that this was the only reason for not letting them to enter the country.
  • In October 2017, on 20st and 22nd of October, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Serbia, Prof. Marko Bumbasirevic attended the celebrations on the occasions of liberation of Belgrade (20th October) and liberation of Novi Sad (22nd October). Prof. Bumbasirevic used both occasion to have an informal meeting with official of Serbian Government.
  • Official visit of Mongolian delegation was organized from 19th to 21st of November in Belgrade. Prof. Bumbaširević organized meetings whit the high level officials in Ministry of Education, state secretary Prof. Popovic in relation to obtain better position and agreement between two ministries. Meeting with the head of the chamber of commerce was organized in terms of making better connections between Mongolia and Serbia. Meeting with head of Serbian Diplomatic Academy was organized to strengthen the position and cooperation between two diplomatic academies and a meeting with the deputy minister in Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Serbia. From the Embassy of Mongolia in Hungary following persons were present: H.E. Dr. Zeneemyadar BATBAYAR, Mr. Tsedensodnom Orkhontulga, Second Secretary and Mr. Ukhnaa DALAIDORJ, the Third Secretary.
  • On 08th of December, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Japan Embassy in Serbia in order to strengthen the relations with Japanese Ambassador who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Metropol Palace, Belgrade. New Ambassador of Japan was announced during this ceremony.
  • On 09th of December, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan. During this receptions, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Serbia, Prof. Bumbasirevic was speaking with our high positioned politicians in order to achieve the goals set by Mongolian Embassy in Budapest. Belgrade. Purpose was achieving better relations with all countries. Reception was held in hotel Hyatt Belgrade.
  • On 21st of December, two Mongolian citizens lost their passports and came to our Consulate, we had meetings with them and their relatives and helped them with all their needs in accordance with our law and instructions from the Mongolian Embassy in Budapest.

The main activities of the Consulate of Mongolia and of Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević, as the Honorary Consul of Mongolia to the Republic of Serbia, were focused obtaining better relations between Mongolia and Serbia.

The Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia has been expanded last year in a new office and upon that we had a successful year in the consulate which was opened every day from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m for all Mongolian citizens in Serbia. Ms. Ana Ivanisevic and Mr. Milos Dimitrijevic are appointed as secretaries of the Consulate and they served all Mongolian citizens on daily basis. Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia worked in strict conformity with the Regulation for Honorary Consuls of Mongolia and implemented functions, stipulated in Article 7 of the above said regulation.

Other main activities of the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia were consisting of following:

  • After expansion of the Consulate we made a new website containing all necessary information for Mongolian citizens in Serbia, we wanted to take care that they can easily reach us and that they can rely on our help in every moment.
  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Kuwait Embassy in Serbia in order to strengthen the relations with Kuwait Ambassador who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Hyatt Regency, Belgrade on 24.02.2016.
  • On 12th February 2016, Iran Embassy organized a cocktail in hotel Crowne Plaza Belgrade which was attended by Prof. Dr Marko Bumbasirevic in order to strengthen the relations with Iran side.
  • On 18th of March, Honorary Consulate of Mongolia organized jointly with a Mongolian singer living in Serbia (Urzin) a concert of Mongolian Music in center of Belgrade which was attended by more than 300 people and we used this opportunity to make a closer connection between Mongolian and Serbian Culture. Besides Urzin, there were many other famous artists who were interpreting Mongolian songs. Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia was involved in the realization and planning of this event and also Prof. Marko Bumbasirevic sponsored the event. Regarding this topic, Honorary Consul had two meetings in the House of Army and has managed to secure the band and the concert hall for Urzin Jelic with no additional payments using his good relations and reputation in Serbia.
  • Welcome reception of Embassy of Pakistan on 24th of March in hotel Hyatt Regency. Honorary Consul of Mongolia, Prof. Marko Bumbasirevic, used this situation to obtain better relations with relevant Serbian diplomatic and political factors in purpose of achieving goals as instructed by Mongolian Embassy in Budapest.
  • On 12th of April, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Bumbaširević, went for an official visit to Embassy of Mongolia in Budapest as he was officially invited from H.E. Mrs. Tugsjargal Gandhi in order to announce that she will be leaving the Consulate.
  • Welcome reception and celebration of 4th July in the building of American Embassy in Serbia, held by his Excellency Mr. Kirby and announcement of new ambassador Mr. Scot who came after Mr. Kirby. Honorary Consul used this opportunity for obtaining better relations with American Ambassador as he has a very important role in the Serbian society. The welcome reception was held on 04th of July.
  • Welcome reception of Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan held in Vila Jelena, Dedinje on 06th of July. During this receptions, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Serbia, Prof. Bumbasirevic was speaking with our high positioned politicians in order to achieve the goals set by Mongolian Embassy in Budapest.
  • Prof. Marko Bumbaširević met with the chief of Consular Department in the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr. Aca Jovanovic, on 06th March 2016, on which occasion they considered possibilities for future better cooperation between Mongolia and Serbia and better communication with Mongolian citizens in Serbia regarding the visa regulations between two countries. Honorary Consul and H.E. Mr. Aca Jovanovic exchanged their views on finishing the internal procedure of the Agreement between the Government of Republic of Serbia and Government of Mongolia on Exemption of Visa Requirements for their Respective Nationals. Also they discussed about the support and establishment of friendly cooperation between the Serbian Diplomatic Academy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
  • On 13th of July, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Montenegrin Embassy in Serbia in order to strengthen the relations with Montenegrin Ambassador who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Hyatt Regency, Belgrade.
  • During August and September, there were several cases of problems to enter the country for Mongolian citizens where we reacted immediately, and Prof. Bumbasirevic went every time in person to make sure that the problem was not in Serbian Police and he confirmed that Mongolian citizens didn’t have all the proper papers for traveling and that this was the only reason for not letting them to enter the country.
  • Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević attended the reception which was organized by Serbian Army and hosted by Serbian Prime Minister on the occasion of promoting new officers. This event was held in the National Assembly on Serbia on 12th September 2016.
  • In October 2016, on 20st and 22nd of October, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Serbia, Prof. Marko Bumbasirevic attended the celebrations on the occasions of liberation of Belgrade (20th October) and liberation of Novi Sad (22nd October). Prof. Bumbasirevic used both occasion to have an informal meeting with president of Serbia H.E. Mr. Tomislav Nikolic.
  • In November 2016, Prof. Bumbasirevic initiated high level meetings and sent notes to Prime Minister of Republic of Serbia, H.E. Aleksandar Vucic, President of Republic of Serbia, H.E. Tomislav Nikolic in order to achieve all the activities requested in the plan of activities but has not yet had an official meetings with them as they are now preparing for new presidential elections.
  • On 08th of December, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Japan Embassy in Serbia in order to strengthen the relations with Japanese Ambassador who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Hyatt Regency, Belgrade.
  • On 09th of December, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan. The event was held in Vila Jelena Belgrade. Purpose was achieving better relations with all countries.
  • On 15th of December, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Bumbaširević, attended the celebration hosted by Qatar Embassy in Serbia in order to strengthen the relations with Qatar Ambassador who is also very important in the Serbian Society. The event was held in hotel Hyatt Regency, Belgrade. Purpose was also achieving better connections and relations with the diplomats in Serbia.

Activity of honorary consulate of Mongolia in Serbia for 2015

  • The Consulate main sign and a flag were put on the new office in the street Majke Jevrosime 19, with announced working hours on 08.01.2015.
  • Welcome reception and announcement of the new Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Serbia at Villa Jelena on Dedinje, dated 04.06.2015. Mrs. Milanka Karic was announced as a Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Serbia. Honorary Consul of Mongolia wanted to use this situation to obtain better relations with relevant Serbian diplomatic and political factors in purpose of achieving goals as instructed by Mongolian Embassy in Budapest.
  • Welcome reception and celebration of 4th July in newly built building of American Embassy in Serbia, held by his Excellency Mr. Kirby. Honorary Consul used this opportunity for obtaining better relations with American Ambassador as he has a very important role in the Serbian society. The welcome reception was held on 02.07.2015.
  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević, met with head of Serbian protocol H.E. Mr. Petrovic and chief of privilege department of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Mrs. Golubovic-Duboka in order to obtain better position for the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Serbia and announced new address for correspondence. This meeting was held on 05th March 2015 in Belgrade.

  • As instructed by Mongolian Embassy in Budapest, and in accordance with a note made by H.E. Ambassador Mrs. Gandi Tugsjargal, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Serbia, Prof. Dr Bumbasirevic has arranged a meeting in House of Army in Serbia in order to organize a concert of Mongolian artist in Serbia, Ms. Urzin Jelic. Regarding this topic, honorary consul had two meetings in the House of Army and has managed to secure the band and the concert hall for Urzin Jelic with no additional payments using his good relations and reputation in Serbia.
  • Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević attended the reception which was organized by Serbian Army where they promoted new military officers. This event was hosted by the Prime Minister of Serbia and was held in the National Assembly on Serbia on 12th September 2015.
  • Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević, Honorary Consul to Serbia, arranged all necessary reservations and meetings for the Mongolian delegation which came for the OEBS annual meeting which was held in Serbia, Belgrade, where the officials of the Mongolian were supposed to have a number of meetings. Among others, with Ambassador Aca Janković, head of the Department for Asia, Australia and the Pacific. Furthermore, they had a meeting with Ambassador Dr. Slavoljub Carić, Head of the Department for International Legal Affairs which were organized by Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Serbia. Unfortunately, all those meetings were canceled as part of the Mongolian delegations canceled they visit one day prior to the meeting. All meetings, hotel reservations and other arrangements were canceled with no penalties for Mongolian delegation.
  • Prof. Dr Marko Bumbasirevic initiated a visit to Novi Sad and had a meeting with the city authorities in order to support establishment of friendly and collaborative relations between Novi Sad and Darkhan-Uul province and work to accelerate the Signing of Agreement between both cities.
  • On 09th October 2015, Korean Embassy organized a cocktail in hotel Hyatt Regency of Belgrade which was attended by Prof. Dr Marko Bumbasirevic in order to strengthen the relations with Korean side.
  • On 25th October 2015, Prof. Dr Marko Bumbasirevic has attended the conference, concert and celebration of 70 years of UN in Serbia.
  • On 26 December 2015, Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, initiated construction of a new website of Honorary Consulate in Serbia in order to better inform the Mongolian citizens in Serbia about Consulate activities.

Activity of honorary consulate of Mongolia in Serbia for 2014

  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia, Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević, participated in the ninth consultative meeting of Honorary Consuls of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar on 17/18 September 2014.
  • The Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, Prof. Dr. Bumbaširević, met with H.E. Mr. Bold Luvsanvandan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ulaanbaatar on 17 September 2014, where they considered all the aspects of future cooperation and a repeated visit of the Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs to Mongolia, as well as a possible visit to Mongolia by the President of Serbia, Mr. Tomislav Nikolić.
  • Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević met with the Honorary Consul of Serbia to Mongolia, Mr. Zorigt Bavvu, in Ulaanbaatar on 18 September 2014, on which occasion they considered possibilities for future cooperation between Mongolia and Serbia.
  • Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević organized the reception and accommodation of Mr. Zorigt Bavvu and his wife between 15 and 17 October 2014 in Belgrade, at the expense of the Mongolian Consulate in Serbia. He also organized meetings with Mr. Ivan Mrkić, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Serbia, a meeting with Mr. Milisav Pajić, Director of the Asian Department, Ambassador Goran Petrović, Minister Counsellor and Ambassador Aca Janković, Ambassador Aca Jovanović from the Consular Affairs Department, as well as the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.
  • Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević, Honorary Consul to Serbia, attended the Mongolia-Hungary Business Forum on 18 October 2014. On the sidelines of a working visit to Hungary,H.E. President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj addressed the Forum. Professor Bumbaširević was very honored by the invitation of H.E. Ambassador Dr. Gandi Tugjargal to attend that significant event, to personally meet H.E. Mr. Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia, and to talk about possible cooperation between the two states in a pleasant atmosphere over lunch organized by the President.
  • At the initiative of the Honorary Consul Prof. Bumbaširević, in addition to the main office of the Consulate located at Stojana Novakovića 25 in Belgrade, an office was opened at Majke Jevrosime 19, working from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. This project was selflessly supported by the Miross company. Mr. Miloš Dimitrijević was appointed Secretary of the Consulate.
  • On 22 December 2014, H.E. Dr. Gandi Tugsjargal, Ambassador of Mongolia to Hungary accredited for Serbia, and Mr. Dukhumbayar Dorjpalam, the First Consul of the Mongolian Embassy to Hungary, came for an official visit to Belgrade. Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Serbia, assisted in organizing the visit of the Mongolian delegation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, where the officials of the Mongolian delegation had a number of successful meetings. Among others, they met with Ambassador Aca Janković, head of the Department for Asia, Australia and the Pacific. Furthermore, they had a meeting with Ambassador Dr. Slavoljub Carić, Head of the Department for International Legal Affairs. A meeting was also held with Mrs. Dragana Vujić, Head of the Department for International Cultural, Educational, Scientific, Technological and Sports Cooperation. The meetings were assessed as very constructive and successful, on which the delegations of Mongolian and Serbian officials unanimously agreed.
  • On 22 December 2014, the Honorary Consul of Mongolia, Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbaširević, together with the Secretary of the Mongolian Consulate in Belgrade, Mr. Miloš Dimitrijević, organized lunch for the Mongolian delegation and the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia in the well-known “Franš” restaurant.
